project proposal form

Please read through this information before you submit a form, and only do so if you're looking to get tattooed within the next 1 - 2 months.

This is only a preliminary consultation, and doesn’t guarantee a tattoo appointment. I’ll respond to accepted forms with an estimated quote of sessions, instructions for paying the deposit, and booking. I may also suggest clients come in for an additional free in-person consultation after reviewing you proposal.

rates & schedule:

  • I tattoo Tuesdays–Fridays, starting at noon.

  • Half-day of tattooing (up to 3 hours): $650 flat.

  • Full-day of tattooing (4–5 hours): $1100 flat.

  • Multiple sessions may be required for some designs, spaced at least 4 weeks apart. This gap can be longer to accommodate budgeting and personal/work schedules.

deposits:

  • $200 for projects estimated at ½ day up to 2½ days.

  • $500 for projects estimated at 3 or more full-day sessions.

style & subject matter:

  • I work only in my aesthetics, and with black & greywash inks.

  • Reference images are welcome as inspiration or placement guides. I will not directly copy other artists’ work — please familiarize yourself with my work.

  • My designs are heavily influenced by zoological and botanical subjects, ukiyo-e florals, and other Asian nature-themed artwork. I may accept other ideas if I think they will suit my style.

  • Some pieces include freehand elements, so a complete stencil won't always be provided.

cover-ups:

  • Not all cover-ups will be possible. The better candidates will be very faded or have tiny/dainty script/linework.

  • Cover-ups must be larger and darker than what they are covering.

  • I am very particular about what cover-ups I can confidently take on; therefore, not all cover-up proposals will be accepted.

what I usually won’t do:

  • Reworking tattoos — I often suggest laser removal as a first option.

  • Adding to existing tattoos by other artists or my previous work, unless it genuinely fits the project, or I can rework the entire tattoo.

  • Scenery pieces, script/text, or geometry-heavy designs.

other helpful info:

  • You will need to be able to take photos of the area you'd like to have tattooed. Use my placement photo guide to help.

  • Please read my full tattoo policies, especially if you have not been tattooed by me before.

I’m a one-woman show and take time to review submissions — thanks for your patience!

✎✎✎

I will do my best to accommodate date requests, but no guarantees.

✎✎✎

Include specifics like a list of flora or animals you have a preference to. If you are open to me designing anything for you, at least tell me the things you don't like.

Using a ruler or tape measure, PLEASE INCLUDE a rough size in INCHES x INCHES . This information is crucial in how I will come up with a time and price estimate. Also mention if you’re looking to get your tattoo between or close to any other tattoos.

✎✎✎

1. Reference Images of any kind (1-4)

2. References to my own work, relevant to what you're looking to get tattooed. (1-4) *** Avoid using large scale examples as references for smaller tattoo ideas, because scaling can affect the amount of detail and volume I can fit into a smaller design.

Use my placement photo guide to help take usable photos.

✎✎✎

This information is collected in confidence and won't be used to deny proposals. I've worked with many clients with a range of. It's more for helping me understand how I can better work with my clients and their needs :)
